We Go Together

Description

John Travolta and Olivia Newton John from GREASE

"We're for each other like
A wop ba-ba lu-mop and wop bam boom
Just like my brother is
Sha na na na na na yip-pit-y dip de boom
Chang chang chang-it-ty chang shoo-bop
We'll always be together
Wha oooh yeah!
We'll always, be together
We'll always be together"

I honestly cry at the end of this movie EVERY TIME! And it's because of this song! They're all graduating and leaving each other...
Reminds me of how cruel the world really is, and how much better it was back in the 50's....

minus the discrimination against the black community...and no xbox or internet... that would kill me.

:) Took about 5 hours! I didn't really set out to make it really realistic, and approached it more in a graphic-art way... I screwed up a lot, but oh well, it happens!

I hope you like it :D

Ahhhh, a Grease fan huh?   I love anything that has to do with the 50's, even though it is before my time.  I even have a jukebox, a 1958 Seeburg 220:

That model year was one of the last machines that were made where you could see the record playing and it is the first stereo jukebox made.

It certainly does put the Shama Lama in the Ding Dong  (That's a good song BTW.)

Here is one of my favorite songs I like to play on it:

Oh boy, I think we both opened up a can of worms here.  You got me started on the 50's.

Here is one of my all time 50's favorites:

And don't forget Peggy Sue!

'Oh Well, I love ya gal and I want you Peggy Sue"

BTW, if you liked Grease you will LOVE American Graffiti   LOTs of 50's music.

Nice job on the drawing BTW.
